Poison Boy is a cultural platform designed to showcase, connect, and empower African creatives. Inspired by brutalist digital aesthetics, the website combines bold typography, stripped-back layouts, and strong visual identity with modern interactivity. It serves as a hub for features, city spotlights, lists and trends, and curated picks. A dedicated avatar page allows brands to collaborate with a customisable digital character - Poison Boy, styled to match their identity. The site includes submission flows for stories, features, nominations, and collaborations, supported by a CMS for scalable content management. Designed fully responsive in Framer, it prioritises editorial storytelling, smooth navigation, and strong brand personality.

I had little to no defined structure or layout from the client. I also tried to stay in line with an "Editorial" style as the client required, while creating a flair as it is also centred around African creatives. Using some experience I gathered previously when I worked on SATOSHI, I was able to create something simple but immersive too. Also this was the first time I implemented a transforming navigation bar and I loved the process.
